The First Year's TACC will be announced in October
The specific purposes of our non-profit (still pending)
foundation - The American Charity Calendar Foundation (TACC Foundation)- are to provide charitable assistance to children living in poverty by organizing annual fundraiser by creating, promoting and selling holiday calendars.
Featuring a holiday illustration that has won 1st place in an annual on-line art contest, TACC is an exciting new annual approach to celebrating the winter holidays, discovering young artists, raising money for humanitarian charities as well as entertaining families with an interactive Charity Calendar television-series.
The American Charity Calendar will display an artist's exquisite
piece of artwork (13” x 16”) displaying a holiday
themed illustration. Twenty-five small-perforated “windows”,
labeled with each day’s date, starting with December
1st and ending on the 25th, are "embedded" in the
illustration. A new “window”
is opened in sequence every day and behind each "window",
a unique holiday-related illustration will be found. The Charity Calendar will be sold on-line and in in retail stores nationwide. All the profits will go to our designated charity.
Each year, we will search for a new-&-up-coming artist
to design that years new American Charity Calendar. Artists (age 16-28) around the country can
enter the contest and the winner of the drawing will receive
a cash prize and have their art featured on The American Charity
Calendar. Please click here to enter contest.
